Retirement timeline
The authenticated user interface for creating new short links and viewing tracking statistics has been disabled as of March 2026.
All existing short links will continue to redirect to their original destination until June 2027. During this period, all requests to short links will redirect to an interstitial page alerting users that the URL they followed will expire in June 2027.
Starting in June 2027, all https://links.utexas.edu URLs will redirect to a single page explaining that this service has been retired.
